  .

  some are here almost, out of need.. others are here because they want to know the latest in watchtower world.. still others come here for the entertainment.. why do you frequent this place?

  I could no longer justify to myself belief in a god “so loving” “so kind” “so whatever”…. watching all the horrific things that happen in the world and do NOTING about it. I can no longer believe in claims made by the bible and religious people that are absolutely unverifiable.

  I need verifiable evidence to believe in anything and everything.

  Why are people so afraid of their "beliefs" being challenged... How else are we to grow as a human race? I like this paragraph: A Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) scientist once told me that the reason the objects found on and near Mars - like the obelisks that Astronaut Buzz Aldrin want us to go back to Mars to examine- would show an ancient connection between ETs and humans- and that this is why that information is being kept classified. When I asked why, he said "Because the foundations of every fundamentalist orthodox belief system on earth would be up-ended". To pursue science is to pursue the truth of matters. What is needed from this point going forward is an open mind so that, together, we may discover the truth about many things yet hidden.

  This is from snopes.com. Someone confirmed this was from his daughter. He also attached the full second page which I wasn't able to find til now. I think its all too real. Time will tell:

  

  A few days after the Reddit posting, a reader wrote to us and reported that the test displayed above belonged to his 10-year-old, fourth-grade daugher, saying:

  My daughter is 10 years old and in 4th grade. I didn't know that this was being taught to her until we heard a radio commercial together about the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit was coming to the TD Convention Center [in Greenville, South Carolina].
  
  The Commercial starts out, "After 65 million years, the dinosaurs have returned ..." She commented immediately that it was only four thousand years ago. When I corrected her, she snapped back, "Were you there?" I have since taught my daughter differently, but I am sure she is confused now and plan to make sure she understands that teachers are people too and can be factually wrong.
  
  The test showed up [at] home a day later to my disgust.
  
  It's a great school for Reading, Writing and Math. She is ahead of most of her peers and also is taking Latin there. But I now know to be vigilant for the rest of the year about her science teachings.

  I would never ring the door bell. I would knock, knock light once. Depending on who I was with, I may do that twice and then leave. I always had a brief presentation that didn't really lead me to having to do a RV. There were times that lead me to go door to door by myself. That was the best. Towards the end, if that happened I would do a phantom knock and then leave right away. I would always make an excuse if someone was working in the yard that they were busy, I'll come back latter.

  God damn, I hated Field Circus.

  I helped save a life yesterday

  during my er clinical we had an elderly gentleman go into ventricular tachycardia and then completely crash.. a couple of other students and i did chest compressions and bagged him while the doc and the rns did their work.. after about 20 or 25 minutes the guy stabilized.. f***ing incredible experience!.
